Top 3 Hip Hotels in Las Vegas
Las Vegas is more about glitzy hotels than hip
hotels. Most hotels on the Strip are more amazing than hip, with
erupting volcanos, elevators that rise at 45 degree angles, and
live lions. Downtown Las Vegas hotels tend to be more like dives
than hip hotels. But there are a few plasma screens and pool
scenes to be found. Here are a few hip hotels in Las Vegas.
1) The Hotel at Mandalay Bay
Rooms at The Hotel, in a separate tower
connected to Mandalay Bay, are all suites, with sleek
décor, three flat-screen televisions (one in the
bathroom), and high-speed Internet. At night, rumjungle
is the place to be seen, and during the warmer months
there's an adults-only pool party at Moorea Beach Club.
2) Palms Casino Resort Las Vegas
Rain and the Ghost Bar are must-see bars.
The pool area also turns into a party called Skin after
dark. Guest rooms here are pretty standard, with the
exception of the "Real World" suite; next door, the Play
Pen suites cater to bachelorette and bachelor parties
with stripper poles, hardwood dance floors and a sound
system.
3) Hard Rock Hotel Casino
The crowd skews young, rowdy and
beautiful at this party hotel just off the Strip. Rooms
have music videos on TV, French doors and Bose sound
systems. Even the swimming pool has rock music piped
underwater.
